How do I tour Stanford University or get on their mailing list?

Stanford is like MIT and Harvard AND the UWash Huskies football rolled up into one posh Silicon Valley location. All 7 kids in my family at least got admission to this school AND MIT in the 1970s-80s, but good luck on getting in these days though. Even if you have top test scores admission odds are pretty ugly, so you'd need a pretty good story of stuff you've done in your life, or how you've overcome hard luck. Other people told me they preferred a small school like Whitman in Wall Walla for small classes, this place is the size of a good sized state university.
